Mercedes has continued to push to introduce upgrades to the 2017 Formula 1 championship-leading F1 W08 in recent races.
In this latest video from Motorsport.tv’s weekly programme The Flying Lap, Peter Windsor and Craig Scarborough look at the changes in detail with the help of the latest 3D animation.
“Mercedes have gone through a stepped upgrade process over the past couple of races where they produced a number of detail changes,” says Scarborough.
He goes on to explain detail changes to the front wing and the so-called ‘Superted Cape’ on the side of the nose that has been modified since it was introduced at May’s Spanish Grand Prix.
There is also a look at the bargeboard detail changes and a discussion of the different impact of high and low-rake philosophies.
Finally, modifications to the area around the diffuser are also explained.
