Autosport podcast: What F1 title four means for Hamilton’s legacy – F1

Formula 1

Lewis Hamilton’s fourth Formula 1 world title and drive to ninth in the Mexican Grand Prix is the focus of the latest edition of The Autosport Podcast.

Lawrence Barretto and Stuart Codling join Edd Straw to look back at an incident-packed race in Mexico, and ask what Hamilton’s title means for his legacy.

Hamilton’s place among the all-time greats is also debated, as are his chances of winning a fifth world title with Mercedes next year.

Hamilton’s clash with Sebastian Vettel on the opening lap, and whether anybody should have been held responsible, is also looked at, as is Max Verstappen’s great drive to victory.

Some of the lower-profile stars of the race are also discussed, including another strong Force India performance that clinched its fourth place in the constructors’ championship.
